Our Diamonds

Are Amethyst and Co’s jewellery certified?

All of the diamonds are of the highest quality, and all are certified to confirm this. Most of our products are GIA-certified; however, some are IGI, SKD, EGL and EGL certified.

Additionally, all of our precious metals are hallmarked.

At Amethyst and Co, we are dedicated to finding the perfect diamonds for what you are looking for. Our personalised service allows you to express your preferences, guaranteeing that you find the best jewellery pieces that match your taste.

For more information, read our diamond guide.

Due to their rarity, strength, and possible resistance to inflation, diamonds can be considered a good investment. Their demand is driven by their beauty and adaptability, particularly that of colourless diamonds, and by their small size, which makes storage easy.

Natural diamonds are prized for their rarity and unique geological formation.

Although less rare, the introduction of lab-grown diamonds does not reduce natural diamonds’ geological uniqueness and distinct attractiveness in the market.

Diamonds can be created in a lab using chemical vapour deposition (CVD) or high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) procedures.

Lab-grown diamonds have the same physical and chemical attributes as natural diamonds, but they are manufactured under controlled conditions.

Amethyst and Co maintain high standards for our jewellery, whether sourcing natural diamonds or lab-grown substitutes.

Although most of our diamonds are natural, for customers desiring specifically lab-grown diamonds, we gladly accommodate. Whatever your preference, natural or lab-grown we are committed to finding the best quality diamonds at the best prices.

Our Jewellery

Does Amethyst and Co’s pendants come with chains?

Yes, indeed. Once you’ve decided on a pendant, we’ll discuss the chain length, thickness, and style that will look best with your chosen pendant.

We provide 9K and 18K gold in both white and yellow variations. If you have specific requests, please let us know, and we will gladly find it to match your needs.

Absolutely! When you express an interest in a piece, feel free to ask about modifications. Our jewellery is customisable, and our gifted jewellers will craft it to your specifications. Simply let us know what changes you want, and we’ll make it uniquely yours.

White gold is achieved by blending 24-carat gold (75%) and other white metals (25%), also known as alloys, like nickel, palladium or silver.

Rose gold is an alloy made from a combination of pure gold and copper. The most common alloy of rose gold is 75 percent pure gold to 25 per cent copper, which makes 18K rose gold.

We use platinum and 9-18K white, yellow and rose gold. Every piece we have is customisable, so we can craft any piece in your preferred metal.

Upkeep & Care

How long does your upkeep guarantee last?

For all of our customers we offer a 3 year upkeep service, this will allow you to keep your jewellery in perfect condition.

The upkeep guarantee includes a complimentary polish, cleaning, and resizing if required.

For further details, please contact us, and we will provide instructions on the necessary steps to take.

Diamonds may indeed chip. Even though they are among the hardest-known materials, diamonds are not unbreakable. A diamond may crack or even break as a result of particular factors, such as an intense impact or force applied at the proper angle.

To reduce the chance of damage, it’s critical to handle diamond jewellery with care and have a professional jeweller examine and maintain it on a regular basis.

Despite their reputation for endurance and hardness, diamonds are nonetheless susceptible to scratches from other diamonds.

On the Mohs mineral hardness scale, which is relative, diamonds are ranked highest. Scratches may occur when a diamond with a similar or greater hardness comes into contact with another diamond.

Generally speaking, though, diamonds are extremely resistant to scratches from most materials.

If you notice a cracked or chipped gemstone in your jewellery, please contact us right away. To ensure your happiness, our experts will walk you through the assessment process and, if necessary, replacement or repair.

Jewellery and its materials value, rarity, and market demand are just a few of the variables that might affect their value. Value appreciation isn’t guaranteed for all jewellery pieces, even though it may happen for some.

The value of precious stones and metals is subject to various factors, including but not limited to market movements, economic situations, and shifts in consumer tastes.
